An online exhibit of the 1909 World's Fair, held on the campus of the University of Washington
Mattson Rd, now 196th Ave NE near Redmond, was paved with brick in 1913 and became part of the transcontinental Yellowstone Trail in the late 1910s. The brick surface still exists.
The Red Brick Road was opened in 1913, connecting Seattle through Bothell to Everett. A section of the road still exists and is being restored.
